It’s a wrap

Our DVD wrapper arrived today, completing all the components we needed to be ready for a retail launch.

When we ordered the device, we scratched our heads at the required freight shipping. From the images of the thing it doesn’t look monstrous, and the literature even stated that it should live on a desk without a problem.

The truth lies somewhere in-between. It showed up in a crate, and we actually had to use a crowbar to pry it open. Once inside, we realized that the thing will fit on a desk as long as the desk can hold a metric ton of steel. It’s small, but very heavy.

After a few test-runs, we can happily report that it does a stellar job wrapping DVD cases in plastic.
